1. Is there local transport from your hotel to the local area?
The easiest way to reach our resort is with a taxi. You can find a taxi at the exit of the departures area of the airport or you can pre-book a taxi through our website (you can find a link on the main page of the hotel that you are staying).
2. How to reach your hotel coming from Heraklion airport by car?
From the exit of the airport follow the national road with direction to Agios Nikolaos. Go straight ahead for about 20km. Turn right in the exit to Kastelli and then turn left for Hersonissos. Go straight ahead for 2 km and turn right for Hersonissos village (old road). Go straight for 2km up to a crossroad where you will see at the right side a gas station and at your left side a Lidl super market. Turn left and drive straight ahead following the hotel signs. For Terra Maris at the first crossroad turn left. For Creta Maris keep driving straight ahead and at the end of the road turn left.
3. Can you arrange for our clients the transfer from Airport to the hotel and return?
You can either call directly the hotel to make a transfer reservation or you can pre-book a taxi through our website (you can find a link on the main page of the hotel that you are staying).
4. Is there a shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel?
Unfortunately we do not have a shuttle service at the moment but we will be more than welcome to help you arrange a transfer to our hotel.
5. Can you please let me know how far out of town are you?
Both our hotels are located 25km from Heraklion City (approximately 25min drive) and only 500m from Hersonissos Village (approximately 5min walk).
6. Can you arrange a weeding party in your hotels?
Both Creta Maris & Terra Maris can arrange wedding ceremony, cocktail, and party. Please contact our Wedding coordinator by email at the hotel’s general email or by phone at +30 28970 27110 and she will be more than happy to assist you.

Both hotels will not operate during Christmas Eve.
9. Can you tell me about the facilities for children at your hotel?
Both hotels offer facilities for children. At Creta Maris Asterias Children’s Club targets children from 3 to 11 years, housed in a brand new specially designed building, created according to the highest standards. Asterias Children's Club services are offered free of charge daily from 9.00 until 17.00, except Sundays. During the high season, there will be additional evening activities. At Terra Maris Mini Club offers exciting activities for children 3 to 11 years old operating daily except Sundays.
10. Can I Rent a car from your hotel?
Yes, please contact the front desk and they will help you find the car you prefer to rent. If you need to do the arrangements before your arrival to the hotel please send us an email. (creta@maris.gr for Creta Maris and terra@maris.gr for Terra Maris)
11. Is there wireless internet in the hotel?
At Creta Maris the is wireless Internet connection at the lobby area and at some designated areas around the resort. There is also an Internet corner at the lobby area with public computers that you can use in order to log in. At Terra Maris there is Wireless Internet connection at the lobby area and at the main building rooms. There is also an Internet corner at the lobby area with public computers that you can use in order to log in and wired connection in all bungalow rooms.
12. Do you have tennis court in the hotel?
There are three tennis courts at Creta & Terra Maris. Please contact the front desk in order to reserve a tennis court at the desired time.
13. Can you please surprise our loyal guests with a little welcome present in the room upon arrival?
After checking in the guests will find in their rooms a welcome bottle of wine. If you would like to add a welcome present please contact the Public Relation department and they will be more than happy to assist you. (creta@maris.gr for Creta Maris and terra@maris.gr for Terra Maris)
14. What is the difference between a bungalow and a room at the main building?
The rooms located at the main building of the hotel are standard rooms with mountain/garden view or sea view. The bungalows are two-floor buildings located next to the main building with the architecture of an Aegean island. The guests can have a room at the ground or at the first floor of the bungalows.
15. Is a Bungalow better for three adults than the hotel rooms?
Bungalows are slightly bigger than the main building rooms. In both room types there is enough space for a third adult.
16. Has the family room 2 separate rooms with one shared bathroom, or it is one big room?
There are family rooms at the main building or at the bungalows. Most of the family rooms are with one large space (sometimes divided in two levels) with a shared bathroom. There is also the option of two connecting rooms with two bathrooms. (Upon availability)
17. How can we upgrade our room type?
If your booking has been made through a Travel Agent please contact with them in order to request a room upgrade. Otherwise, please contact the front office and they will give you all the possible options for upgrade. (Upon hotel’s availability and with an extra charge)
18. Do you have any non-smoking rooms available?
In both hotels there are Smoking and Non Smoking rooms available. Please specify your request while reserving.
19. What is the price for the computer access to Internet at room?
The cost for 1 hour use is 5,00 €,
The cost for 3 hours use is 12,50 €,
20. Is it possible to reach the restaurants and the beach with the wheelchair?
All restaurants in both hotels are accessible through special ramps and elevators. Moreover, Nireas Beach is not accessible but guests can use the beach of Creta Maris.
21. Is the Bungalow accommodation wheelchair accessible?
There are four Bungalows and a Bungalow One-Bedroom Suite specially designed for the Disabled in Creta Maris and three Bungalows in Terra Maris.
22. Do you have a wheelchair available for people use?
Both hotels have a wheelchair available. Please send us a request with your arrival date in order to have the wheelchair available.
23. Are there ramps in and all around the hotel so that I can reach the restaurant, bar, the terrace, the swimming pool?
All areas of the hotel are accessible through ramps and elevators.
