1. Is there local transport from your hotel to the local area?
The easiest way to get around is with a taxi. Front office can help you find one. There is also local bus transportation. The bus stop is 500m from the hotel’s entrance. Front office can offer you directions.
2. How to reach your hotel coming from Heraklion airport by car?
From the exit of the airport follow the national road with direction to Agios Nikolaos. Go straight ahead for about 20km. Turn right in the exit to Kastelli and then turn left for Hersonissos. Go straight ahead for 2 km and turn right for Hersonissos village (old road). Go straight for 2km up to a crossroad with traffic lights where you will see at the right side a gas station and at your left side a Lidl super market. Turn left and drive straight ahead following the hotel signs. Keep driving straight ahead and at the end of the road turn left.
3. Can you arrange for our clients the transfer from Airport to the hotel and return?
You can either call directly the hotel to make a transfer reservation or you can pre-book a taxi through our website (you can find a link on the main page of the hotel).
4. Is there a shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel?
Unfortunately we do not have a shuttle service at the moment but we will be more than welcome to help you arrange a transfer to our hotel.
5. Can you please let me know how far out of town are you?
Creta Maris Beach Resort is located 25km from Heraklion City (approximately 25min drive) and only 500m from Hersonissos Village (approximately 5min walk).
6. Can you arrange a wedding party in your hotel?
Creta Maris Beach Resort can arrange a wedding ceremony, a cocktail and a party for you! Please contact by email at resort@cretamaris.gr or by phone at +30 28970 27110 and will be more than happy to assist you.

Our hotel will not operate during Christmas Eve.
9. Can you tell me about the facilities for children at your hotel?
Asterias Children’s Club targets children from 4 to 11 years, housed in a brand new specially designed building, created according to the highest standards. Asterias Children's Club services are offered free of charge daily , except Sundays. During the high season, there will be additional evening activities.
10. Can I Rent a car from your hotel?
Yes, please contact the front desk and they will help you find the car you prefer to rent. If you need to do the arrangements before your arrival to the hotel please send us an email at (resort@cretamaris.gr)
11. Is there wireless internet in the hotel?
At Creta Maris there is wireless Internet connection in all rooms, at the lobby area and at some designated areas around the resort. There is also an Internet corner at the lobby area with public computers that you can use in order to log in.
12. Do you have tennis court in the hotel?
There are three tennis courts at Creta Maris. Please contact the front desk in order to reserve a tennis court at the desired time.
13. Can you please surprise our loyal guests with a little welcome present in the room upon arrival?
After checking in the guests will find in their rooms a welcome gift. If you would like to add a welcome present please contact at resort@cretamaris.gr and will be more than happy to assist you.
14. What is the difference between a bungalow and a room at the main building?
The rooms located at the main building of the hotel are standard rooms with mountain/garden view or sea view. The bungalows are two-floor buildings located next to the main building with the architecture of an Aegean island. The guests can have a room at the ground or at the first floor of the bungalows.
15. Is a Bungalow better for three adults than the main building rooms?
Bungalows are slightly bigger than the main building rooms. In both room types there is enough space for a third adult.
16. Does the family room offer 2 separate rooms with one shared bathroom, or is it one big room?
There are family rooms at the main building or at the bungalows. Most of the family rooms are with one large space (sometimes divided in two levels) with a shared bathroom. There is also the option of two connecting rooms with two bathrooms. (Upon availability)
17. How can we upgrade our room type?
If your booking has been made through a Travel Agent please contact them in order to request a room upgrade. Otherwise, please contact the front office and they will give you all the possible options for upgrade. (Upon hotel’s availability and with an extra charge)
18. Do you have any non-smoking rooms available?
All rooms are Non Smoking. Guests can only smoke on the terrace/balcony of the room.
19. What is the price for the computer access to Internet at room?
Internet Access is free.
20. Is it possible to reach the restaurants and the beach with the wheelchair?
All restaurants in both hotels are accessible through special ramps and elevators. Nireas Beach is not accessible but guests can use the beach of Creta Maris Beach Resort.
21. Is the Bungalow accommodation wheelchair accessible?
There are Bungalows and a One-Bedroom Suite Bungalow specially designed for the Disabled.
22. Do you have a wheelchair available for people use?
There are two wheelchairs available at the resort. Please send us a request with your arrival date in order to have the wheelchair available as it is upon availability.
23. Are there ramps in and all around the hotel so that I can reach the restaurant, bar, the terrace, the swimming pool?
All areas of the hotel are accessible through ramps and elevators.
