Creta Maris Conference Center & Hotels provides a series of outdoor activities that are specially designed to cater to incentive and conference groups.

These activities aim to relieve the stress and tension, and to nurture team spirit among the conference participants.

The incentive activities are quite unique, such as "Beach Olympic Games", "Treasure Hunt in the Creta & Terra Maris gardens" and "Collective Sports Games".

Outdoor Activities in the gardens of Creta & Terra Maris:

Conference Incentive Activities, such as "Beach Olympic Games" and "Treasure Hunt within the Gardens of Creta & Terra Maris" aim to relieve tension and nurturing team spirit among the participants.

Organization:

• Both incentive activities last half a day and take place in the outdoor area and gardens of Creta & Terra Maris.

Duration of Incentive Activities:

• Beach Olympic Games: 3 hours
• Treasure Hunt: 4 hours

Number of Incentive Participants:

• Beach Olympic Games: 100 - 300 persons
• Treasure Hunt: 100 - 300 persons

1. The Beach Olympic Games are organized on the hotel's beach. Usually, the Beach Olympic Games include a volleyball match, a relay obstacle race (with several unique obstacles), an archery or sling shot competition, a beach skiing race and tug of war.

2. The Treasure Hunt takes place both around and in the hotel premises. It's an exciting, multi-action incentive event that is comprised of various interesting activities, such as cultural and physical tasks (a questionnaire to be answered, an archery competition, cheese & wine tasting, a bowling competition, a primitive basketball game, etc).

The concept of this conference incentive activity is based on a scenario from Greek mythology and requires cooperation among the members of each team. After successfully completing the final and most exciting task, the winners will be rewarded by finding the hidden treasure, while all participants will learn a little about Greek Mythology.

Outdoor Activities in Cretan Nature in collaboration with DMC or a travel agency:

These incentive activities include group hikes and expeditions to the most attractive mountainous and coastal areas of Crete and are organized to last either a half of a day or a whole day.

Botanical walks

Hike on nature paths, and in gorges, valleys and cultivated lands; admire thousands of wild flowers and plants in full bloom. Guided by plant specialists, the Wild Nature botanical hikes are available to small groups of nature lovers. From March through May.

Cultural Walks

The cultural walks have a special appeal to those who nature and culture aficionados.

Apart from the pleasure of walking, these conference incentives are a fascinating insight into Greek civilization, local culture, tradition, religion and the lifestyle of the Cretans.

Trekking through gorges

Enjoy hiking or river trekking through the fascinating landscape of some of the most interesting gorges in Crete such as the gorges of Samaria , Rouvas, Kollita, Kritsa, Aradena, Sarakina, Kourtaliotiko...

An unforgettable journey among smooth cliffsides and huge rocks, pine trees, oak trees, and oleander bushes, while spotting goats and sheep...

Duration of Incentive Activity: 2 ½ - 6 hours (depending on the group's level of experience)

Number of Incentive Participants: minimum 12 persons, maximum 30 persons, per group

4X4 Jeep Treasure Hunts and Rallies

The 4X4 Jeep treasure hunt expedition is a wonderful experience. Travel through spectacular countryside and show off your knowledge and physical stamina by participating in various outdoor incentive activities.

Distance of Driving Route: 130 - 150 km
Number of Incentive Participants: minimum 20 persons, maximum 100 persons (divided into several teams)
Driving Conditions: participants who wish to drive must over 23, have a valid driving licence and have good road experience. 4 participants share each jeep, and qualified drivers drive in turns.

Note: Available also as a 2-day schedule in central Crete, including camping in the countryside and outdoor BBQ dinners.

Number of Incentive Participants: minimum 20 persons, maximum 40 persons

Accommodation: 2-person tents.

Cycling & Boat Expedition

Venture through the glorious countryside of the Mirabello Province by mountain bike, and admire the beautiful Elounda Bay and Spinalonga Island by fishing boat.

Distance of Mountain Biking Route: 20-40 km (depending on the group's level of experience)

Trekking & Cycling

Explore the evergreen Lassithi Plateau by going on a trekking and cycling expedition. Heading for the peak of Karfi (1148m), you walk along panoramic slopes and fertile high plateaus, and bike through evergreen fields and picturesque villages with traditional windmills.

Duration of Hiking Route: 2 ½ hours
Duration of Mountain Biking Route: 22 km
